We are AP Live, an organization based in Averill Park, NY focused on lifting local musicians and artists into the spotlight. Here in Averill Park and the 518 region, we are so fortunate to have a thriving music scene. The talent that fills the region is truly remarkable. As musicians and artists ourselves, we want to help this community grow and bring together the fantastic lineup of muscians and artists local to us here in upstate NY!

THE FESTIVAL

AP Live: Music & Arts Festival is a free music and arts festival that we organize in Averill Park. It takes place in August, featuring a lineup of local musicians, an outdoor art gallery, food vendors and activities throughout the day. It acts as a fundraiser for the community. In the past we have raised money for the SHAC Community Center, a local nonprofit organization based in Averill Park that does a lot of great work to get kids outside during the summer and provides a wide variety of classes, events and facilities year-round for members of the community. Through this event, our goal is to promote the arts and local music, as well as give the community an opportunity to enjoy a beautiful summer day in the park. A major part of ensuring the success of this event comes in the participation of community organizations and businesses in the form of sponsorships. Sponsors ensure we can cover expenses for renting the space, advertising the event, renting sound equipment and other effects such as tents, tables etc, and it would help expand the possibilities for AP Live this year, and for years to come!

OUR GOALS

Through our endeavors, we seek to enrich our community with the appreciation and participation of local music, and arts. We aim to be the premiere local music festival in the greater Capital Region.
